Coutellerie Nuage (Cloud Cutlery) is a French enterprise created in 2004 by the cutler craftsman Alexandre Dubois. He worked for two years in the creation department of a jeweller's store in Orléans and then did a two-year training period in the Manufacture de Coutellerie Cognet. His workshop, Coutellerie Nuage, offers a wide range of hand-made products from a folding pocket knife to the large hunting knife as well as the recreation of historical blades. His crafting skill and the quality of his works made him a choice craftsman to work with the protagonists of the Gallois de Fougières project.

From historical pieces conserved in museums, Alexandre Dubois was able to create daggers of high quality with sheaths to match.
To create these weapons, Alexandre Dubois worked in collaboration with Yves Schmitz of Une Forge en Mitgard who also contributed his skill to the crafting of such fine works.
