Mardinus (plate armour)

Our plate armour was mostly created by Piotr Kaczmarzyk from the Mardinus shop. This Polish craftsman founded a family company with Joanna Kaczmarzyk in 1999. They create their products conforming to the literary and archeological sources to make high quality historically accurate equipment. They offer a wide range of products and all of them are created by hand with the greatest care. Several types of armour are offered but they remain open to custom orders.
Their range of armour pieces covers all the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, from the Viking era to the 17th century.
In their collaboration with the "Gallois de Fougières" project, these craftsmen were sollicitated to equip Gallois de Fougières, provost of the marshals, his companion-in-arms, Jehan de Quesnes, as well as the men-at-arms who make up the provost guard. The pieces were carefully chosen according to the social status of the members of the provost's troop and meticulously made by the craftsmen of the Mardinus store to create formidable harnesses of plate armour.
