Viktor Berbekucz (combat sword)

Viktor Berbekucz is the craftsman who created and supplied the combat sword that Gallois de Fougières will wield on the 600th anniversary of the battle of Azincourt. This blade is a replica of a historical model :

The sword of Ettore Visconti (around 1410) conserved at the Museo del Duomo in Monza (Italy).

Re-creation of the sword, adapted for fighting.

He also supplied the falchion which will be worn by one of the soldiers of the Provost Guard and is also based on a historical model :

Falchion (around 1400) conserved at the "Musée de l'Armée" Paris (France).

Re-creation of the falchion, adapted for fighting

In his workshop, Viktor Berbekucz makes medieval weapons, either of series, or custom-made, using traditional methods.

The techniques for smithing, grinding, and polishing haven't changed much throughout the centuries. However, thanks to technological advances, these processes have been greatly accelerated.

His wares are mostly handcrafted, especially the customized orders.

Viktor Berbekucz offers a variety of wares :
- swords for tournaments and combat reenactment
